Holly ParkEach year group has trips, visits and curriculum days tailored to what they are learning that year. Here is an example of the kinds of topics we cover.

Autumn Term:

  • Reception –   Cultural Day
  • Year 1 –  People at work
  • Year 2 –   Synagogue
  • Year 3 –  Geobus virtual in school visit. Museum of London & Nativity performance.
  • Year 4 –  History Off The Page
  • Year 5  –  Victorian Day
  • Year 6 –  DT Day (Anderson shelters)  Science Museum ((Electricity & Light)

  • Year 3 – Geo bus workshop on volcanoes and earthquakes. A DT food day.
  • Year 4 – Geography fieldwork – rivers at Friary Park.
  • Year 5 – The National Gallery – linked to Greek myths
  • Year 6 – The science museum. Social media and friend v friend workshopsRoyal Geographical society – Shackleton
  • Whole School – Maths Day
  • Whole School – Safer Internet Day
  • Whole School – World Book Day

Summer term:
